Aimed at paragliding schools, tandem passengers and solo pilots who require things to be simple, light and durable. There is a version to fit all tastes and requirements.
Three versatile solutions are available, all based on the proven Gii2 chasis:
- Gii 2 - Airbag protection with underseat integrated reserve container
- Gii 2 front - Airbag protection, no integrated reserve container. Front container optional
- Gii 2 alpha - Foam protector with intergrated underseat reserve container

R&D comments
Gii 2 SNG has really proved itself since it's launch last year. With its second generation, reliable airbag concept, passing the EN free fall test with only 22-24G (EN pass requires a maximum of 50G) and hard wearing materials, it was hard to beat. We took the chasis from the Gii 2 SNG and developed two further parallel versions. To create the Gii 2 Front we removed the integrated reserve container and cleaned up the under surface. This made for an ultra simple, clutter free harness which is ideal for schools, tandem passengers or minimilistic seeking pilots alike, with the option of fitting a front reserve container if required.
The third concept was to produce the Gii 2 with a highly effective foam back protector and integrated reserve container. Quite a bit more modifying of the shell and under section was required and the Gii 2 Alpha was finally born. Again, simplicity, style and funcionality were high on the design brief.
We listened to the feedback from the schools claiming that the under section must be strong enough for school use by the student pilot or tandem passenger. So, we used the best and strongest Cordura available and applied it to all of the Gii 2 family.
