ERIS 4 is the latest generation SKY competition glider. But, as one might guess, even this glider is aimed mostly at novice competition pilots who are new to high performance wings and competition flying and would appreciate both the stability and performance to take on new flying challenges in the comp circuit.

Materials
Canopy
The canopy is made out of the material DOKDO produced by the South Korean textile factory Dominico Textiles. To reach the high quality and increase the durability of the canopy, we combine several materials and coatings. The upper panel are made of DOKDO-N20 DMF (WR), 36 grams per square meter.Profiles are made of DOKDO-N30 DFM and the panels for the leading edge are made of DOKDO-N20 DMF (WR), 38 grams per square meter.

The material is made of Nylon 6.6 fibres (PA fibres) produced by Du Pont. The weaving pattern is the so called RipStop structure.
Line scheme
The lines on the ERIS 4 are of the highest quality and are supplied by the firm EDELRID and COUSIN TRESTEC. These lines create high resistance from mechanical abrasion as well as a high degree of length stability.
For the upper cascade we used ELDERID 7000-060 lines. These uncovered kevlar lines are 0,6 millimetre in diameter. The lower lines are manufactured out of Vectraline (Cousin Trestec) and the main brake lines are made from EDELRID 7850–200.
Risers
The risers are made from 13 mm wide webbing manufactured by our supplier MOUKA TIŠNOV. The suspension lines are connected to the risers by means of quick links (mallons) from the French supplier MAILLON RAPIDE (PEGUET).
